The 15-inch MacBook Pro with Apple’s new eight-core structure, though not new, is a high-performance machine.
Apple has released the new MacBook Pro 2019, which includes two 13-inch and 15-inch options. From the beginning, with this year’s MacBook Pro, Apple claims to be more refined than offering new looks. In addition to some advanced specifications and sophisticated keyboards, the “Apple House” introduced the first eight-core processor on a mobile Mac.
Design is not changed
Configuration of the 15-inch MacBook Pro tested with 8 Core i9 processor, 2.4GHz speed can accelerate Turbo Boost up to 5 GHz, 32 GB RAM, SSD 1TB hard drive and VEGA 20. This version Retail for $4,149.
In addition, for more storage, users can upgrade to MacBook Pro with capacities up to 4TB at a price higher than 2,400 USD. This price is obviously much higher than other “competitors” but worthy of its excellent performance.
Through benchmarking, the 2019 MacBook 15 inch proved astonishing performance compared to the previous generation i9 and perfect cooling. In other words, the eight-core 2019 chip model runs cooler and faster than the six-core model from 2018.
Single core and multi-core points of the machine
Geekbench 4 performance tests showed that the 2019 MacBook Pro scored 5879 and 29976, respectively, in single and multi-core tests. Multi-core testing recorded a significant increase compared to the six-core model 2018 – 22620 in multi-core testing, nearly 30% slower than the 2019 model.
The highest score that the MacBook Pro received during the ten Cinebech R20 tests was 3160, but the average score on all tests was only 3096.
However, in the graphics test and SSD performance, there is no difference between the memory module or Radeon Pro Vega 20 graphics compared to the old version.
